As a jewelry designer artist it's always a compliment when customers pass our name on to their friends. But recently one of our customers enjoyed our work so much she loaned her jewelry to her friend to wear for special events. As it turns out the friend is a buyer at QVC. One day they got together discussing new suppliers for QVC. Our customer asked us if we would open to be considered as a supplier. You could knock us over with a feather. We are so honored that we would even be thought of in these term. Still have not heard anything but it's a great feeling to be thought of even if it never materializes.

After a long time we have decided it was time to give our front page a different look. Our new feature now includes jewelry items on sale, adding customers to our data base list. We decided to do this to let everyone know when we were coming to your town or when created new designs. We narrowed our field of lists in the category file. Making it easier to for you all to search through our web site. We've also tried to build confidence in purchasing on line by indicating the Authorization logo letting you know it is safe to purchase on line.
The season is winding down with one show left and then we begin creating new designs for the coming Christmas season. Not to mention Christmas tree earrings. We had a great year thanks to you all and look forward to see you again in the fall if not through out the summer.

After a long winter season, we have finally concluded our circuit until the fall. Now is the time we begin creating new designs and ideas. So far we have been able to create what we feel are some of our best ideas. We recently came across the beautiful 18kt gold treated Druzy Quartz stones. We're also gearing up for the Christmas Holidays and are beginning to create last years sold out Green Christmas Tree Earrings. Large and Small. We also are introducing a Clear, Silver Foil Swarovski crystal Christmas Tree Earring. These are now on the web site. There is no need to wait until Christmas to begin your Christmas Shopping. We can help you out now. Have a great 4th of July. We are heading to Anaheim, California where Mark will be participating in the International Barbershop Chorus Convention. Mark's chorus from Tampa, The Heralds of Harmony, will be representing the state of Florida. We will be able to ship all deliveries after July 13th. Mark has been working with Chain Maille designs and will be introducing more tassel style earrings. But this new design is what we call our Bali Design.

Karen has once again introduced her Journey Pendant. This hand made design is meaningful and fun to wear.

This pendant is set with Swarovski crystals set in Sterling Silver with a Bali bale. This pendant also has the matching earrings. The colors are closer to the black diamond color.

Out of the Sea Teardrop Pendant

This is our newest creation from the Out of the Sea Collection. After the original Out of the Sea pendant was well received we decided to create an alternative but beautiful pendant. Like the Out of the Sea Swarovski pendant, the new Out of the Sea Teardrop Swarovski pendant carries all the same features. When worn against white, the pendant appears as a clear crystal with a blue aurora borealis color, but against black, this pendant glows with an amber color. Like all of our designs and creations this is one that will draw attention.
After we created the original Out of the Sea pendant we also created the matching Blue Star Fish Earrings. Many of you asked for earrings that would compliment the Out of the Sea pendant, so we fulfilled your wishes. They are ultra light and very fun to wear. As you should know by now, this collection will again get attention and get noticed by everyone.

Happy New Year to one and all. As promised we have begun creating new and fun designs. Since we are in Florida we only thought it fun to make tropical designed pendants and earrings. The Swarovski Crytsal pendant is unusual for when you wear it on black you get the golden appearance and on white, the blue AB colors. Going Internationally Green

Who knew being green in Tarpon Springs, Fl would possible spread to Athens Greece. Environmental concerns are truly global. We just returned from a 30 year High School when we checked our e-mail. There, a message from a senior editor from an environmental magazine in the Athens Greece Airport was fascinated by our, as they called it, Avant Garde, Abalone Paradise necklace. We have been informed that Karen's necklace may possibly be published in their October's edition. At All Wired Up we are proud to be a participant with environmental concerns.
Many of our customers ask us how and where do we get our inspirations. We try and work outside on our patio "studio" as much as possible. We think just being outside in the fresh air, in a relaxed atmosphere helps with our creativeness. Each designed piece of jewelry we create has a life of its own. With new designs we don't always have a complete design in mind. We let the wire, the gems and the imagination create our one of kinds.

1978 Passion

Karen and I just returned from what was a fun experience at my 30th year High School reunion back in St. Louis, Missouri. What a time cathing up with many former long time friends. It's was 10 years ago when many of us saw each other and how so many of our lives have changed. Many have young families and many have children that are almost through college. We saw photos of who we were and what we looked like then and I am sure many of us were thinking what our goals were going to be back then. Some of us had grand ideas after going to college and some had just grand ideas. I wanted to be an engineer eventually moving into the sales direction selling packaging. It was not shortly after 10 years of sales and a quick fight with cancer, one year after Karen and I married did I realize that life can be short. I returned to the reunion hoping to see special friends that I grew up with only to find out some had passed away so young. It only now reinforces my belief that life is short and do what you want to do. In the past years in the many fine art shows and this weekend we told people what we do for a living. We're jewelry artists. And we have a passion for what we do. Many of you have either seen us at shows or seen us wearing our jewelry and ask where do you come up with the ideas? I guess I can only say is when you have a passion for something, you become involved with it and believe in it and allow your imagination to assist you in the creation. As a Barbershop singer of 26 years I fully believe if you don't believe in what you are singing it will show. Karen and I are both blessed to have the opportunity to create jewelry that truly are one of a kind plus design pieces that make people happy. I listened to many of my long time friends who told me what they do for a living and many truly have a wonderful passion for what they are doing. Many teaching in grade school and many participating in sports events with their children. So I guess I would have to say when you see our jewelry, we imagine it, we design it, we blieve in it because, it's our passion. It's the passion I have always had ever since 1978.

Breast Cancer Jewelry

This is one of our most exciting pendants. Back in 2007 Karen was watching the Oprah show when she noticed one of her guests wearing one of our custom designed earrings. We knew it was ours because the stone was too original. So we took photos of the guest on the TV. During our show at the Chicago One of a Kind in December we began promoting the photo when most of our customers said this was Mrs. Mayor Daley. Eventually it turned out it was not. But in the mean time, many people said they had trouble recognizing her because she was supposedly recovering from breast cancer. Then one of our customers picked out our Rose Pink Infinity pendant and said we should begin promoting this pendant as the Breast Cancer Awareness Pendant. The rest is history. Since January we have been making contributions to the Suncoast Susan G. Komen Foundation here in Florida. Our pendant was so unusual, CBS in Tampa featured us on their Friends and Family 10th of the month Breast Cancer Awareness. Like many people, we too have lost friends to cancer and have had friends affected by Breast Cancer. Like our jewelry, we have made our Rose Infinity Pendant a part of our passion to help race for the cure. It's just our way of getting people involved. If someone wears it, the get attention which just helps spread the word. The Rose Infinity makes a great gift for a family member or friends.
